Why I work with women

I've recently decided to focus my coaching practice on women visionaries and here's why.

First I always recommend to people that to double the power of their brand they should cut their niche in half. Second, I tell clients to focus on working with people that give them the most energy. The question we ask is who are your people? When I looked at where I get the most energy it clearly is working with my female clients. When I looked at who are my people or who are showing up in my practice; they are mostly women. This does not mean I wont work with a man that is attracted to what I have to offer, only that my focus will be on women.

But there is more to it than that. I realize that the challenges we face as a society are mostly around the need to change/increase our consciousness. The ways of the past, mostly driven by males, will not work. We have to restore wholeness to our planet. We have to work in cooperation among nations and races. We can not continue to rape the earth as entrepreneurs of the past have. These changes must happen quickly and for the most part men are too ingrained in our pasts to wake up fast enough to the changes.

There is a growing movement in the US of Cultural Creatives. These are people much more concerned with the happenings of the world than just the US. More likely to be volunteers in their community. They are more concerned with the environment and social justice. And two thirds of them are women.

In the book Spiral Dynamics, Don Beck talks about the different stages of consciousness, or memes, that we have gone through historically and where we need to go as a society. For the last 150 years we have been in a strong entrepreneurial meme that has largely been driven by men. 30% of the population is in the entrepreneurial meme. In the last forty years a new meme of community has formed. Community is a meme of bringing people together for a common cause, think Green Peace. 10% of the population is in this meme.

What Beck says is that for us to meet the challenges of our complex rapidly changing world we need to move to new memes of higher consciousness. These stages bring out what we know to be true in the world and are represented by chaos and an uncertainty of what will be next including how we will make a living doing the work that needs to be done. These memes represent only 1% of the population. This is not an easy place to be and I want to help the women that choose to go there.

In the book Power vs Force, Dr.David Hawkins has developed a scale of consciousness using kinesiology. He states that on a scale of 1-1000 when you reach 200 you are at a place where you put more energy into the world then you take out and that 85% of the world is below 200. So, how does the world stay in balance? It stays in balance because as you exceed 200 your impact on consciousness is exponential. At the place of love or 500 on the scale, you can have an impact that counters the negativity of 400,000 people.

The major advances in consciousness will be lead by women. Women are the largest percentage of Cultural Creatives. Women are less likely to be caught in the lower memes of consciousness discussed in Spiral Dynamics and more likely to be wiling to reach for higher consciousness as described in Power Vs Force. Even a small percentage of women achieving higher consciousness can make a huge difference in the world.

What we need is bold women visionaries to usher in the new world. The work I do with  "A Better Way to Live and Work" is one way to make this happen. My vision is to become the Marshall Goldsmith of Women Visionary coaching.

Why am I qualified to do this? I am a Cultural Creative. I have been an entrepreneur for over 30 years and have worked through my entrepreneurial phase to strive for higher consciousness. As an experienced coach I provide a trusted male perspective.
